Senior / Qualified Diesel Mechanic

We are an authorised CASE IH dealership providing sales, parts, and after-sales service for agricultural and construction machinery. We are committed to delivering world-class technical support to our farming community and are looking for a skilled, passionate diesel mechanic to join our workshop team.

The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, servicing, and maintenance of CASE IH agricultural equipment and related machinery. The successful candidate will ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard, in line with manufacturer specifications and dealer requirements.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults on CASE IH tractors, combine harvesters, and implements.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and services according to manufacturer specifications.
• Carry out warranty repairs and complete all associated documentation accurately and timeously.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used units.
• Respond to field breakdown callouts and provide on-site repairs where required.
• Complete job cards, service reports, and parts requisitions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
• Assist with technical guidance and mentoring of junior technicians and apprentices.
• Liaise professionally with customers regarding the status of repairs.
• Stay current with CNH Industrial / CASE IH technical training and product updates.

Minimum requirements

• Previous experience working on CASE IH agricultural equipment (tractors, combine harvesters, planters, headers). – STRONGLY PREFERRED
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic – relevant trade test certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Valid South African driver's licence (Code 08 minimum; Code 14 advantageous).
• Computer literate – able to use job card / DMS systems.
