Requirements

• A relevant three-year tertiary qualification, preferable a

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or

Computer Science

• Minimum of 5 – 8 years relevant experience required with

proven supervisory experience

• PKI-related experience is required
• Vulnerability Management experience would be

advantageous

• Drivers license advantageous

Key Performance Areas

• Identify short, medium, and long-term objectives & plans

for the enhancement of cyber security solutions by

keeping abreast of technological developments.

• Direct and control outcomes associated with utilisation,

productivity, and performance of personnel in the Cyber

Security team

• Implement procedures, systems, and controls to regulate

specific work and associated sequences associated with

the functionality

• Manage the Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)

environment for the provision, management and revocation

of digital certificates

• Manage an enterprise certificate lifecycle management

and automation platform for issuing, renewing and

revoking public and private digital certificates throughout

the City to ensure compliance and security.

• Manage and maintain an enterprise vulnerability

management platform to identify, prioritize and remediate

security vulnerabilities.

• Subject matter expert for Public Key Infrastructure and

Vulnerability Management

• Participate in projects through the life-cycle
• Optimisation of people skills and resources
• Manage the formulation of contract and tender documents

and control contractual obligations
