Motus Aftermarket Parts is seeking a Counter Sales Person for the Vanderbijlpark branch. The role focuses on driving sales growth, delivering excellent customer service, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Preference will be given to candidates with truck and commercial vehicle parts sales experience, industry knowledge, and established connections within the transport and fleet sectors. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, target-driven, and able to identify and maximize sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Matric.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales parts environment.
- Preference will be given to candidates with proven truck parts sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of truck and commercial vehicle parts.
- Established industry connections with workshops, fleet operators, transport companies, and parts buyers will be advantageous.
- Extensive experience in a customer-focused sales environment.
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Technical background or product knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Sound business acumen and understanding of customer service delivery.
- Must be target-driven, enthusiastic, and a strong team player.
- Thorough knowledge of the geographical area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer and counter sales while ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets set by management.
- Grow the customer base and increase market share within the assigned area.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
- Receive and respond to inbound customer sales enquiries.
- Prepare quotations and provide accurate product, pricing, and service information.
- Forecast, plan, and report on customer sales potential.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Monitor and report competitor pricing, activities, and market trends.
- Report customer concerns relating to deliveries, accounts, and telesales activities.
- Collaborate effectively with Accounts, Dispatch, Warehousing, Receiving, and Technical departments to ensure excellent customer support.
- Promote truck and commercial vehicle parts solutions while leveraging existing industry relationships and networks where applicable.
