Factory Manager - Macadamia Processing

Our client, a well-established macadamia processing operation in Hazyview, is looking for a hands‑on Factory Manager with a strong background in agricultural processing or food manufacturing to oversee the full factory function and drive operational excellence

• Oversee daily factory operations, production planning, and workflow management
• Ensure quality control, food safety compliance, and adherence to industry standards
• Manage staff performance, training, and shift structures
• Maintain machinery, coordinate maintenance schedules, and minimise downtime
• Monitor production output, yields, and processing efficiency
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
• Manage stock, raw materials, and processing timelines
• Ensure health & safety compliance across the facility
• Report on production metrics, operational challenges, and performance targets

• Proven experience as a Factory Manager, Production Manager, or similar role in food/agricultural processing (macadamia, nuts, fruit, grains, or related industries)
• Strong understanding of processing machinery, plant flow, and quality standards
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse operational team
• Excellent problem‑solving, planning, and organisational skills
• Willingness to be based in or commute to Hazyview
• Strong operational discipline and a hands‑on management style
