Responsibilities of the Group HR Manager

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process from start to finish
  • Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems and procedures across the organization
  • Partner with senior management to develop and implement training programmes development plans for individual staff members
  • Submit annual training reports to the Department of Labour (DOL)
  • Drive transformation throughout the business and submit annual employment equity reports to the Department of Labour (DOL)
  • Partner with management in order to create and maintain a positive working environment
  • Project manage all people related projects
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation
  • Perform HR administrative duties as and when required

Requirements and skills

  • At least five years proven working experience as Group HR Manager, preferably in the Health industry
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Sound knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Excellent active listening and negotiation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Must be willing to travel between Cape Town, Paarl and Gauteng (as required)
  • South Affrican Citizen
  • Own Vehicle
  • Valid Drivers License
