Join the JLL Design Desk as a Senior Workplace Designer working for the JLL Design Lab team and shape the future of work environments through strategic design concepts for our most prestigious global clients.
As a design specialist within our creative leadership team, you'll transform complex client briefs into compelling spatial concepts that win major projects and influence industry thinking. Working directly with our Global Creative Director, you'll lead conceptual design development for high-profile pitches across workplace, hospitality, and retail sectors, creating the foundational ideas that define exceptional environments.
What you'll do: Lead strategic design thinking from brief analysis through concept development, translating client aspirations into powerful spatial narratives. You'll craft winning design strategies for international pitches, developing concepts that balance creative ambition with commercial reality.
What you bring: You're an accomplished design thinker with 5-8 years of experience who approaches every project strategically. Your portfolio demonstrates exceptional conceptual thinking and the ability to distill complex programs into elegant spatial solutions. You think and work in 3D, are proficient in Revit and used to working across multiple platforms to craft compelling presentations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic design concepts for major international pitches and client presentations
- Translate complex client requirements into clear, compelling design narratives
- Collaborate with the Global Creative Director on high-profile projects across workplace, hospitality, and retail sectors
- Contribute to thought leadership content, including white papers, case studies, and industry presentations
- Ensure design concepts balance creative ambition with technical feasibility and commercial viability
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in interior design or architecture, with strong workplace design background
- Exceptional spatial thinking and ability to conceptualise complex design problems
- Proficiency in Revit, with Vectorworks an advantage.
- Experience working on projects across multiple sectors (workplace, retail, hospitality) preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
