Job Summary

To deliver a seamless virtual banking experience to Business Banking clients by managing and growing a portfolio of customers remotely. The Virtual Banker is responsible for providing financial solutions, driving revenue growth through cross-selling, and ensuring compliance with FAIS and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship & Service Management
• Manage a portfolio of clients via virtual channels (voice, video, digital)
• Build client relationships and provide tailored financial solutions
• Deliver high-quality service aligned to Absa standards
• Sales & Revenue Growth
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
• Drive new client acquisition
• Achieve financial and non-financial targets
• Portfolio Management
• Manage and optimise portfolio profitability
• Monitor account performance and conduct reviews
• Risk & Compliance (FAIS)
• Ensure compliance with FAIS and regulatory requirements
• Maintain RE5 certification and regulatory standards
• Digital & Virtual Enablement
• Drive digital adoption among clients
• Use virtual tools to enhance engagement

Qualifications

• National Diploma / Degree in Business, Commerce or Finance
• FAIS Compliant (RE5 required)

Experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in Business or Retail Banking
• Portfolio and client management experience
• Sales and revenue generation experience

Education

Higher Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
