Overview
The Vice Principal Academic Operations is responsible for the efficient functioning of the academic operational processes on campus from the registration process through to graduation of a student. This includes all administration within scheduling and timetabling, assessments and student support functions. The objective is to enhance student experience and promote student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, train and manage high performing academic operations teams to achieve organizational and campus objectives
- Recruitment, contracting and management of lecturers
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the relevant campus
- Develop and implement a more efficient and effective teaching and learning timetable for implementation at campus level
- Assessments – printing, timetabling, mark capture and verification
- Management of invigilators
- Administration including student files, communication platforms and timetabling
- Report on progress and issues efficiently and effectively into head office structures
- Ensure that the organisational and campus reputation and credibility is maintained to the highest standards across to the stakeholder groups towards student success
- Ensure teaching and learning, assessments, student retention, student success and student support are developed and implemented in line with campus requirements
- Supporting the principal in any, and all, campus activities and initiatives

- Strong digital and computer skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A relevant postgraduate degree is advantageous
