Main Purpose of the role

Oversee fleet, bowser and wash bay. Ensure that branch monthly reports are up to date.

Job related requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative function within the Transport and Logistics industry.
  • Valid unendorsed Code 10 driver’s license
  • Ability to liase with clients and good communication skills
  • Must be able to work overtime, shifts, weekends, as and when required.
  • Must be able to attend training on weekends (Saturdays & Sundays)
  • Be able to work under pressure and solve problems

  • Excellent attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative duties related to the department.
  • Ensure the process flow is followed through within the operation.
  • Ensure that all quarterly audit points are adhered to, relevant to your department.
  • Ensure that compliance with all road traffic laws, vehicle licensing and roadworthiness by liasing with vendors for licensing ‘and redirection of fines, change of ownership and reflecting of vehicle.
  • Ensure to capture and analyse the fuel consumption daily.
  • Ensure that the Fuel Inventory report is updated daily.
  • Ensure that the Wash Bay report is updated daily.
  • Ensure that all incidents and accidents are logged.
  • Ensure that ZA Fleet/ Grafana is up to dated.
  • Ensure all vehicle maintenance and tyre schedules are kept up to date.
  • General housekeeping in your area of responsibility.
  • Monitoring of fleet tracking system via Pulsit and Geo tab.
  • Liasing with internal and external customers.
  • Active monitoring, investigations of company vehicles.
