We are looking for a motivated Junior Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media and customer service.
As a Junior Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring our social media platforms, engaging with our audience, and providing excellent customer service. Your role will involve using Meta Business Suite and Hootsuite to manage our social media presence and ensuring customer inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Non-negotiable: National Senior Certificate.
- Preferred: Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite and MS Suite.
- Experience using Facebook for customer service is highly beneficial.
Skills
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of Hootsuite or similar social media management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in social media management for a company in the finance or telecommunications industry.
- Experience in content creation and digital marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and monitor social media accounts, primarily on Facebook, using Meta Business Suite.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across our social media platforms.
- Use Hootsuite to schedule posts, track performance, and manage social media campaigns.
Customer Service
- Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues.
- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Content Creation and Reporting
- Assist in creating and curating content for social media that aligns with the company’s brand and goals.
- Monitor and report on social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for improving engagement and reach.
