Job Title: Project Management Consultant
Location: Centurion
Job Type: 12 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and project teams in the planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out of projects.
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and updating of project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Track project progress against approved baselines, milestones, and deliverables, and highlight deviations or potential risks.
- Support the preparation of project reports, dashboards, meeting packs, minutes, action logs, and status updates.
- Assist in managing project documentation, ensuring that records are accurate, up to date, and stored in the correct project repositories.
- Coordinate project meetings, including agenda preparation, action tracking, follow-ups, and distribution of minutes.
- Support risk, issue, change, and dependency tracking by maintaining registers and escalating items where required.
- Assist with stakeholder coordination and communication to ensure project information is shared clearly and timeously.
- Apply general project management principles, processes, and governance requirements in line with internal and client standards.
- Support project controls activities, including progress tracking, schedule updates, cost-related inputs, and reporting support.
- Assist in identifying project delays, constraints, and areas requiring management attention.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting lessons learned, process improvements, and project administration best practices.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management, project coordination, project controls, or similar project support role.
- Degree or qualifications in Project Management
- Working experience with Microsoft Project.
- Good understanding of general project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, change, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in supporting project reporting, meeting coordination, action tracking, and project documentation.
- Strong organisational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work in a structured project environment and support multiple stakeholders
