Job Title: Project Management Consultant

Location: Centurion

Job Type: 12 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers and project teams in the planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out of projects.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and updating of project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Track project progress against approved baselines, milestones, and deliverables, and highlight deviations or potential risks.
  • Support the preparation of project reports, dashboards, meeting packs, minutes, action logs, and status updates.
  • Assist in managing project documentation, ensuring that records are accurate, up to date, and stored in the correct project repositories.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including agenda preparation, action tracking, follow-ups, and distribution of minutes.
  • Support risk, issue, change, and dependency tracking by maintaining registers and escalating items where required.
  • Assist with stakeholder coordination and communication to ensure project information is shared clearly and timeously.
  • Apply general project management principles, processes, and governance requirements in line with internal and client standards.
  • Support project controls activities, including progress tracking, schedule updates, cost-related inputs, and reporting support.
  • Assist in identifying project delays, constraints, and areas requiring management attention.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting lessons learned, process improvements, and project administration best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management, project coordination, project controls, or similar project support role.
  • Degree or qualifications in Project Management
  • Working experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Good understanding of general project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, change, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in supporting project reporting, meeting coordination, action tracking, and project documentation.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work in a structured project environment and support multiple stakeholders
