Our client operates within professional recruitment, focusing on mid-to-senior qualified white-collar professionals. This first South Africa-based hire is a strategic test case, with plans to scale the team further if successful.
The Role: Sales-focused Delivery / Recruitment Consultant
This is a high-level, relationship-driven recruitment role focused on sourcing, interviewing, and delivering strong mid-to-senior professional candidates. The role works closely with the sales function, feeding market intelligence back into the business and building credible peer-to-peer relationships with senior corporate stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring proven white-collar professional recruitment experience, ideally within finance, AI, or data sectors
- Source and engage mid-to-senior qualified white-collar professionals
- Conduct rigorous candidate interviews and assessments
- Build strong relationships with senior corporate stakeholders, including Finance Directors
- Collaborate closely with the sales function to share market intelligence
- Manage recruitment delivery with strong organisation and autonomy
- Represent the business with gravitas, persuasion, and emotional intelligence
- Support a high-quality delivery function focused on strategic recruitment outcomes
About You
- Experienced in white-collar professional recruitment
- Able to engage confidently with senior finance directors and corporate stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, gravitas, and emotional intelligence
- Persuasive, organised, and capable of managing recruitment activity independently
- Self-motivated and able to work without heavy supervision
- Collaborative team player who works closely with sales
- Background in finance, AI, or data recruitment would be advantageous
- Comfortable working 9 am to 6 pm UK standard time with a one-hour lunch break
