Commercial Finance Manager (CA(SA)) – Retail Environment

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager for a high-volume, stock-driven retail environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a CA(SA) with 2–3 years post-articles experience who has already started moving into a commercial finance space.

This role sits close to the business and goes beyond traditional reporting, focusing on driving insight, influencing decision-making, and partnering with operations to improve overall performance.

POSITION INFO

Key responsibilities:

Margin, profitability, and performance analysis across the business
Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
Business partnering with operational and senior stakeholders
Turning data into meaningful commercial insights and recommendations
Driving improvements in reporting, systems, and processes (ERP exposure such as SAP advantageous)
Enhancing financial efficiency and decision-making tools

Requirements:

CA(SA) qualification
2–3 years post-articles experience
Experience within a retail or stock-driven environment (essential preference)
Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
Exposure to systems, reporting, or process improvement initiatives
Team management experience is advantageous
