Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to take responsibility for the maintenance, servicing, repair, and operational readiness of a large fleet of construction and transport equipment operating across multiple RDP housing construction sites.
The successful candidate will travel between sites, perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose and repair breakdowns, and ensure maximum fleet uptime. A fully equipped company service vehicle and all necessary tools will be provided.

Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Trade Tested / Red Seal or equivalent recognized qualification)
Valid South African driver's licence
Clean driving record
Additional mechanical or hydraulic certifications will be advantageous
Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
Strong working knowledge of:
- Diesel engines
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical systems
- Heavy vehicle maintenance
- Construction equipment maintenance
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Preventative maintenance planning
Salary: R30 000 + performance bonus & 13th check
