Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for four young Accountants to join their team.
This is an on-site role based in Silverton, Pretoria.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with IFRS/GAAP
- Perform month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
- Prepare and submit statutory returns (e.g., VAT, tax filings) in compliance with local regulations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations
- Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- BCom Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Previous experience in an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and tax regulations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
