Company and Job Description Join a well-established financial services environment where you will play a key role in growing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. This contract opportunity offers exposure to a reputable banking institution, providing you with the platform to leverage your insurance expertise while working alongside experienced banking and relationship management professionals. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, providing needs-based insurance advice, and delivering exceptional client service while ensuring full compliance with FAIS regulations and Treating Customers Fairly principles. Key Responsibilities Drive new business acquisition and achieve commercial insurance sales targets. Conduct client needs analyses and recommend suitable commercial insurance solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients to ensure retention and portfolio growth. Collaborate with internal banking stakeholders to identify cross-selling opportunities. Ensure all client engagements and recommendations are compliant with FAIS and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records, sales pipelines, and client documentation. Job Experience and Skills Required Education: RE5 Qualification (Non-Negotiable) Relevant qualification in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business, or a related field will be advantageous. Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in Commercial Short-Term Insurance Sales. Previous experience within a banking, financial services, or bancassurance environment. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, business interruption, and asset cover. Skills & Competencies: Sound knowledge of FAIS legislation and Fit & Proper requirements. Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Client-centric approach with strong advisory capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Apply now!
