SUMMARY

A well-established company based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced

Production Planner to join their team.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Industrial Engineering (advantageous) CPIM certification (advantageous) Minimum 3 years' production planning experience in a manufacturing environment Strong proficiency in SYSPRO and advanced Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of MRP principles and manufacturing flow Experience in flexographic printing, extrusion, or packaging manufacturing (advantageous) Strong communicator with excellent organisational and analytical skills Duties Build and maintain a firm production plan for Printing and Extrusion, aligned to the sales order book and lead times Monitor and manage feedstock and bought-in reel stock levels to support downstream production requirements Update production schedules daily, track WIP, and drive adherence across all production teams Proactively communicate delivery dates, changes and deviations to the Sales team Maintain accurate planning data within SYSPRO and generate management reports Identify production risks early and escalate potential bottlenecks before they impact throughput
