POSITION INFO
Location: West Rand, Gauteng (Preference for candidates residing within close proximity to Krugersdorp) We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Office Administrator to join a well-established business in the West Rand. The successful candidate will support an established sales administration team while gaining exposure to all aspects of the sales office function. This role requires an individual who is committed to building a long-term career within the organisation and contributing to a fast-paced sales support environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the sales administration function and Sales Engineers
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales-related documentation
- Assist with tender submissions and related administrative requirements
- Coordinate transport, shipping, and delivery logistics
- Maintain diaries, schedules, and key deadlines
- Record and distribute meeting minutes accurately and professionally
- Manage stock and parts ordering processes
- Handle client and internal queries effectively and professionally
- Monitor project timelines and production schedules, ensuring delivery commitments are met
- Assist in problem-solving around delayed deliveries, logistics challenges, and operational disruptions
- Create and maintain production bar charts and project tracking schedules using Microsoft Projects Minimum Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Sales Management, Project Management, Logistics, or a related field from a recognised institution
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales support, office administration, or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word) – essential
- Expert-level working knowledge of Microsoft Projects – non-negotiable
- Proven experience creating production bar charts and managing project timelines
- Strong understanding of sales administration and office support functions
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills with fluency in both English and Afrikaans
- Must reside in the West Rand area, preferably within a 20-minute drive of Krugersdorp
