SUMMARY
Our client is looking for an experienced Receiving & Raw Materials
Warehouse Supervisor to lead the receiving, storage, inventory control and issuing of raw materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate receipt of daily deliveries from suppliers and off-site warehouses, maintaining inventory integrity, supporting production requirements, and leading a high-performing warehouse team.

Qualification details: Matric (Grade 12) Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Operations Management, or related field Experience 5-8 years' warehouse experience Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role FMCG, food manufacturing, cold chain, or distribution experience Experience managing high-value inventory and inventory control systems Candidate Essentials Skills & Competencies: Strong warehouse and inventory management capability Leadership and team development skills Excellent planning, organising, and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, stock control, and traceability requirements Food safety and health & safety awareness Effective communication and stakeholder management skills Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset Key Responsibilities Manage all inbound raw material receipts from suppliers and off-site warehouses. Oversee storage, stock rotation, and inventory control across ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouses. Ensure accurate stock transactions, traceability, and inventory integrity. Maintain material availability to support uninterrupted production. Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and receiving personnel. Drive compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards. Manage cycle counts, stock audits, and variance investigations. Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Liaise with Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality, and Finance teams. Safeguard high-value inventory and minimize stock losses.
