POSITION INFO

Regional Manager KZN Role Purpose To strategically direct and organise all human, economic, and material resources within the branch. The primary focus is to drive operational growth, maximise profitability, and ensure excellent customer and employee satisfaction targets are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities Operational & Sales Leadership Sales & Policy Implementation: Oversee the execution of commercial and sales policies across the branch following established procedures. Branch Motivation & Strategy: Lead, coordinate, and motivate branch teams to achieve corporate client satisfaction targets. Workflow Optimisation: Manage the execution of all project works, optimising tool utilisation, workgroups, and resources to meet billing, activity, and quality benchmarks. Project Supervision: Organise and manage the direct oversight of new installation and modernisation projects. Sales Performance: Run daily sales business operations to ensure financial budgets are achieved. Pipeline Management: Monitor the sales pipeline to ensure an adequate volume of bids and successful conversions are generated. Sales Process Compliance: Enforce systematic sales management practices, processes, and tools while ensuring strict compliance with new installation and modernisation sales and booking guidelines. Performance & Financial Control Deviation Analysis: Identify root causes for performance gaps and implement effective corrective actions. Target Enforcement: Ensure milestones are met through diligent action implementation, follow-up, and strategic course corrections. Financial Stewardship: Apply corporate financial policies, manage branch expenses, and optimise purchase and stock management in line with established policies. Pricing Oversight: Authorise first-level pricing escalations and review financial decisions to align discounts with budget strategies. Profitability Reporting: Provide regular feedback on project profitability to line management. Team Management & Compliance Health & Safety: Maintain rigid oversight and application of health and safety guidelines both in-house and on-site. Quality Compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to all company Safety and Quality Standards. Labour Relations: Manage staff relations smoothly and in full compliance with local labour legislation and legal norms. Talent Development: Conduct performance appraisals and development reviews to uncover training needs. Capability Building: Proactively build staff competencies in efficiency and customer orientation while elevating the technical expertise of field technicians. Requirements Education & Experience Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Business Management. Experience: 4-5 years of professional experience. Background: Technical background, ideally within an engineering discipline. Assets: Prior experience in sales is highly advantageous. Expertise & Core Competencies Leadership & Drive: Exceptional ability to guide teams toward collaborative, high-efficiency outcomes. Characterised by high integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented sense of urgency. Strategic Focus: Strong capability as a strategic thinker and proactive planner. Skills & Knowledge Interpersonal Skills: Superb communication capabilities with the talent to manage relationships across all corporate tiers. Technical & Systems Literacy: Advanced computer skills, including deep proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of SAP and familiarity with online ordering of parts processes are distinct advantages.
