SUMMARY

Our client operates within the financial services environment and is known for its strong focus on performance, innovation, and data-led decision-making. This role forms part of the Finance team and reports directly to the Head of Finance.

As a Forecasting & Budgeting Specialist, you will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial insights, supporting strategic initiatives, and helping the business understand key profit drivers.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis to identify trends and assess business performance. Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making. Support leadership with insights for investments, projects, and overall strategic direction. Assist with monthly reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Finance, Marketing, and Credit. Process monthly financial transactions and contribute to management accounts preparation. Job Experience and Skills Required Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in budgeting and forecasting. Advanced Excel skills (including financial functions, pivot tables, and VBA). Experience within the lending or financial services sector is advantageous. Strong financial modelling and analytical capability. Competency Requirements Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills. High level of curiosity with a proactive approach to learning. Ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
