New Business Partner | Port Elizabeth | Permanent Drive growth in a fast-moving logistics environment where your ability to open doors and close deals directly impacts success. This is a role for a commercially sharp, target-driven sales professional who thrives on winning new business. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new clients within the road freight and logistics space. The role requires a proactive approach to building a strong pipeline, understanding client needs, and positioning tailored solutions that add measurable value. From first contact through to closing and onboarding, you will own the full sales cycle while ensuring alignment with pricing strategies and compliance standards. This opportunity sits within a well-established logistics operation known for its operational excellence and customer-centric approach. The business partners with clients across industries, delivering reliable distribution solutions while maintaining strict regulatory and quality standards. What You’ll Do Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics and road freight sector Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads Engage potential clients to understand their operations and logistics needs Present tailored solutions that align with client objectives Negotiate rates in line with company strategy and market standards Close deals to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets Support onboarding of new clients to ensure a seamless transition Maintain accurate CRM records and KYC documentation Prepare and submit sales reports and related administrative documentation What You Bring Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in logistics or road freight Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Strong business development and negotiation skills Solid understanding of sales techniques and customer engagement Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication and relationship-building ability Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a broader team High level of drive, resilience, and results orientation What Success Looks Like Consistent achievement of new business sales targets Strong pipeline growth and conversion rates High-quality client relationships and positive customer feedback Accurate and up-to-date CRM and reporting Effective onboarding of new clients Compliance with operational, safety, and regulatory requirements
