Our client in the logistics industry is recruiting for a Control Room Operator in Bloemfontein. Candidates who meet the below minimum requirements are invited to apply. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric Minimum 2 years' experience in a logistics, transport, fleet management, or control room environment Computer literate (MS Office, tracking and fleet management systems) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and track fleet movements using vehicle tracking systems Maintain constant communication with drivers and transport personnel Coordinate vehicle dispatching and route monitoring Record, investigate, and report delays, incidents, breakdowns, and emergencies Ensure compliance with operational procedures and company policies Monitor delivery schedules and provide updates to clients and management Capture and maintain accurate operational records and reports Escalate operational issues and assist with resolving transport-related challenges Monitor driver performance and adherence to schedules Assist with after-hours operational support when required Skills and Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Strong analytical and monitoring skills Good telephone etiquette and communication skills Team player with the ability to work independently Reliable, responsible, and proactive approach to work Remuneration: R 12 500 CTC IMPORTANT: Applications close 27 June 2026 If you did not receive feedback within 14 days, your application is unsuccessful Please ensure that you use the correct reference when sending your application via email Only candidates who meet all our client's minimum requirements will be contacted
