A well-established manufacturing entity is on the hunt for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with experience in production planning to join their team asap! Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules for the Printing and Extrusion departments. Ensure production plans are aligned with customer orders and agreed lead times. Monitor and maintain optimal feedstock levels to support production requirements. Liaise with Procurement to ensure the availability of bought-in reel stock. Update daily production outputs and drive adherence to the production plan. Work closely with Sales to provide expected delivery dates and communicate any deviations. Ensure the timely supply of materials to support production requirements. Maintain the accuracy of planning data on the ERP system. Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and the manufacturing process to ensure products are available on time. Identify and communicate potential production issues and opportunities. Prepare and distribute reports to support management decision-making. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric. Minimum of 3 years'' production planning experience. Strong understanding of production planning processes and material flow. Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) principles. Proficiency in Syspro and Microsoft Office, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to effectively interact with multiple internal stakeholders. Advantageous Qualifications and Experience CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management). Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering. Experience with high-output extruders and high-speed flexographic printing presses. Key Competencies Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
