Quality Assurance & Testing Specialist

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance & Testing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and readiness of solutions delivered by Infolytics.

Working closely with Consultants, Developers, Project Managers, Customer Success, and Training teams, you will contribute to quality assurance throughout the implementation lifecycle by validating requirements, executing testing activities, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and helping ensure successful customer outcomes.

This role serves as a key quality checkpoint before solutions are released to customers and plays an important role in improving delivery quality, reducing rework, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements & Quality Planning

  • Participate in requirements review and solution design sessions.

  • Identify gaps, risks, ambiguities, and quality concerns.

  • Assist in defining acceptance criteria and testing requirements.

  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and quality checklists.

2. Solution Testing

  • Test Zoho applications, configurations, customisations, integrations, and custom-developed solutions.

  • Validate workflows, automations, permissions, reports, dashboards, forms, and business processes.

  • Verify that implemented solutions meet approved requirements and expected outcomes.

3. UAT & Defect Management

  • Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation, test scenarios, and outcomes/findings.

  • Support customers during UAT activities.

  • Identify, document, track, and verify defects and enhancement requests.

  • Collaborate with Consultants and Developers to resolve issues and coordinate retesting.

4. Release Readiness

  • Conduct quality reviews before training, UAT, and go-live activities.

  • Confirm that solutions are tested, documented, and ready for customer use.

  • Provide recommendations regarding release and go-live readiness.

  • Support project closure activities through quality assurance reporting.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the improvement of testing standards, templates, and processes.

  • Support internal knowledge sharing and quality initiatives.

  • Promote a quality-first mindset across delivery teams.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Preferred

  • Diploma or Degree in: Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Business Management or a related field.

Advantageous

  • SASTQB Certification, including Foundation Level (CTFL) or higher.

  • ISTQB Certification or internationally recognised equivalent.

  • ISEB Software Testing Certification, CAST, CSQA, CMST or Business Analysis Certification.

  • Zoho Certifications.

  • Agile, Scrum, or Quality Assurance Certifications.

Relevant experience in software testing, business systems testing, consulting, business analysis, software implementation, or quality assurance may be considered instead of formal qualifications.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience testing software applications, business systems, or technology solutions.

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

  • Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Confidence to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and raise quality concerns when necessary.

Advantageous

  • Experience with Zoho applications and the broader Zoho ecosystem.

  • Experience testing CRM, ERP, HR, Finance, Customer Service, or Operations platforms.

  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Experience testing integrations and data flows between systems.

  • Exposure to APIs, automation, or custom application development.

  • Experience within consulting, implementation, or SaaS environments.

Probation Period

  • A three-month probation period applies to this role.
