As a Senior Distribution Channel Sales Representative here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading sales initiatives, and developing and executing sales strategies aligned with the company's objectives. This role involves managing sales teams, fostering customer relationships, and expanding market share in alignment with the company's growth targets.

You will report directly to our Regional Sales Leader, and you will work out of our Midrand, South Africa office on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will guide the sales team towards achieving and surpassing revenue targets, driving market penetration, and cultivating strong customer relationships. By devising and executing robust sales strategies, you will shape the company's sales trajectory and influence its market competitiveness and profitability. By leveraging your expertise to optimize sales processes, empower the sales team, and align strategies with evolving market trends, you will spearhead growth, elevate brand visibility, and foster lasting profitability.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments, leading efforts to acquire new customers and increase market share
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, penetrate markets, and expand the customer base
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, KPIs, and sales pipeline, driving accountability and ensuring the team meets or exceeds targets
  • Continuously refine and improve sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct market research, gather competitor insights, and stay updated with industry trends to inform sales strategies

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years in channel management roles, with a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in sales analytics, CRM tools, and sales pipeline management
  • Prior experience providing accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making
  • Ability to analyze sales data, KPIs, and market trends to make informed decisions and drive sales performance improvements

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in optimizing sales processes, implementing effective sales methodologies, and leveraging CRM tools for enhanced efficiency
  • Understanding of international sales practices and the ability to navigate diverse cultural landscapes
  • Ability to drive and manage change within the sales organization, adapting to evolving market landscapes and technological advancements
  • Prior experience in managing channel sales or partnerships and leveraging strategic alliances to expand market reach
