Role Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking IT Solutions Architect to join our organization during a period of expansion and transformation. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and future-ready technology solutions that support business growth, operational efficiency, and acquisition-led integration.
The role combines solution architecture leadership with hands-on technical execution, ensuring successful delivery across infrastructure, systems, integrations, and technology environments.
This role will also play a key part in technology due diligence, system evaluation, and integration of acquired businesses into the organization’s technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Technology Leadership
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions aligned to business and integration objectives
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, roadmaps, and technology strategies
- Conduct technology assessments and due diligence for acquired businesses
- Evaluate existing systems, infrastructure, applications, and technology risks during integrations
- Ensure systems and architecture are future-proofed to support organizational growth and acquisitions
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and improvements
Hands-On Technical Leadership
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across infrastructure, networking, cloud, servers, and applications
- Act as senior escalation point for complex technical issues across integration and operational environments
- Support configuration, deployment, migration, optimization, and troubleshooting activities where required
- Work closely with internal IT teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure successful solution delivery
- Provide technical guidance and support across multiple platforms and business systems
Systems Integration & Optimization
- Lead system integration assessments across acquired entities and existing business systems
- Design and oversee integration between applications, cloud platforms, and operational systems
- Support system rationalization, consolidation, and standardization across business units
- Support data migration and ensure integrity, security, and continuity during integrations
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and system optimization
Growth, Transformation & Integration
- Lead and support technology integration during mergers, acquisitions, and business expansion
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and strategic technology projects
- Develop scalable technology solutions to support future acquisitions and organizational growth
- Drive standardization of systems, infrastructure, and technology processes across the business
- Ensure technology integration aligns with operational and business objectives
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
- Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, and leadership teams to support integration objectives
- Provide clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support decision-making by providing technical insights, risk assessments, and solution options
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants during integration initiatives
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or senior technical lead
- Strong hands-on experience across systems integration, infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems
- Experience in business integration, transformation, or acquisition-led environments advantageous
- Strong understanding of scalability, resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS advantageous
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and governance practices
