Introduction

Our client, a highly respected and fast-growing communications solutions provider, is looking for an experienced National Channel Manager to lead and grow its Microsoft Teams Voice and Unified Communications channel nationally.

This is a strategic, revenue-focused role suited to a commercially driven telecoms professional who understands both the technical and business side of modern voice and collaboration solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a national partner ecosystem across Microsoft Teams Voice, Direct Routing, Hosted PBX, and Unified Communications solutions while driving recurring annuity-based revenue growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a national reseller and channel partner network
  • Drive Microsoft Teams PSTN and Direct Routing adoption
  • Present, position, and sell Unified Communications solutions to partners and clients
  • Develop and execute channel growth strategies
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships
  • Manage partner enablement, onboarding, and engagement
  • Work closely with technical, operations, and finance teams
  • Support commercial negotiations, proposals, and solution positioning
  • Drive recurring annuity revenue growth across the channel
  • Monitor market trends and identify new growth opportunities
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within Telecoms, Voice, UC, or ICT environments
  • Proven experience in channel sales, partner management, or indirect sales
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Microsoft Teams Voice
    • Direct Routing
    • SIP & PSTN solutions
    • Hosted PBX / Unified Communications platforms
  • Strong commercial and presentation skills
  • Ability to confidently engage with business stakeholders and partners
  • Self-motivated, driven, and highly professional
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation ability
  • Ability to work independently while driving performance and accountability
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle

Package & Remuneration

  • R30,000 – R40,000 basic salary
  • Commission linked to annuity and target growth
  • Hybrid working model

Key Performance Indicators (First 6–12 Months)

  • Growth of 1,000 – 2,000 new licenses
  • Expansion and activation of channel partners
  • Increased adoption across Teams Voice solutions
  • Recurring revenue and annuity growth
