We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our growing team based in Epping. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience working on various accounting systems, and reside within close proximity to the Epping area.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12
• Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance (preferred)
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field advantageous

Minimum Requirements

• Accpac
• Other accounting systems/software
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Must reside in Epping or surrounding areas (within approximately 30km radius)
• Must be available to start immediately

Key Responsibilities

• Processing daily financial transactions
• Bank and supplier reconciliations
• Capturing invoices and payments
• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with creditors and debtors
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Preparing and compiling weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports
• Supporting month-end procedures and reporting
• General finance and administrative duties
