Senior Accountant (Buildsmart)

Our client is a well established leader within the manufacturing and construction industry that is in the process to expand their finance team. They are looking for an individual with a proven track record in Accounting with Build smart or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records: Ensure all financial records are complete, accurate, and kept up to date.
• Oversee audit process
• Process transactions: Record and review accounting entries promptly and correctly.
• Bookkeeping to trial balance: Manage the full bookkeeping function through to trial balance stage.
• Cashbook and journals: Handle cashbook entries, journals, and general ledger postings.
• Balance sheet reconciliations: Prepare and review reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Bank and statutory reconciliations: Complete reconciliations for bank accounts, petty cash, and statutory obligations.
• Management reporting: Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.

Requirements

• B com Degree
• 4-6 years relevant experience
• Build smart experience
• Must have a stable career track record
