HR Administrator
Sapientis is a boutique Recruitment and HR Consulting firm supporting clients across South Africa and beyond. We are looking for a hands on HR Administrator to join our team on a 6 month contract, with a strong focus on both recruitment administration and HR consulting project support.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, is highly organised, and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities across internal and client facing work.
What you will be involved in
Recruitment support (internal)
- Post job adverts on job boards and social media
- Screen CVs and conduct initial telephonic screenings
- Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates and clients
- Conduct reference checks and basic background checks
- Keep candidate data and ATS records updated and accurate
- Prepare shortlists, interview packs and supporting documentation
HR consulting support (client projects)
- Assist with day to day HR administration for client assignments
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases for client projects
- Help prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, policies and trackers
- Provide support on recruitment, onboarding and HR operations projects
- Assist with HR audit and compliance checklists and data collation
Onboarding and offboarding administration
- Coordinate documentation for new hires and leavers
- Prepare and file contracts, onboarding packs and probation documentation
- Assist with exit administration, return of company assets and exit interview scheduling
General administration
- Maintain organised digital filing and document control
- Support with reporting, trackers and HR related spreadsheets
- Provide administrative support to consultants and senior team members as needed
What you need to bring
- HR or related qualification. Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or similar
- 1 to 3 years experience in HR administration or recruitment coordination, preferably in a professional services or agency environment
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with candidates, clients and employees at all levels
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel. experience with ATS or HRIS systems is an advantage
- Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and manage multiple priorities
- Available immediately and willing to commit to an initial 6-month contract
- Contract: 6-month contract, with potential to extend
- Availability: Immediate start
