Accountant

This is a great career opportunity at a well established, medium sized accounting / consulting firm based in the Southern Suburbs.Due to growth they are urgently looking for an Accountant to join their dynamic and achieving team. Lovely working enviroment and office culture! Superb opportunity!!

1. Bookkeeping: Maintain financial records and manage accounts payable/receivable.
2. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance.
3. Tax Preparation: Gather information and help prepare tax returns for clients.
4. Client Communication: Interact with clients, address inquiries, and help.
5. Software Utilization: Proficiently navigate accounting software for data input and report generation. (SAGE Online, Sage Payroll, Xero, Pastel, Caseware, E-filling).
6. Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll for clients, including calculating wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
7. Value Added Tax (VAT) Compliance: Ensure clients comply with VAT regulations by assisting in VAT registration, filing VAT returns, and managing VAT records.

1. Completed B Com or Accounting Qualification (Essential)
2. SAIPA or SAICAarticles will be benificial
3. Minimum of 3 years’ experience
4. Experience within an accounting firm maintaining a portfolio of clients
5. Case Ware Working Papers Experience will be benificial
6. Pastel / Sage One / Xero Experience
7. Ability to work in fast paced and urgency filled environment.
