Financial Manager

Shift Pursuit is recruiting on behalf of a private hospital based in Johannesburg, for an experienced Financial Manager. This role is suited to a finance professional with strong financial management, reporting, and analysis experience within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the hospital’s financial operations, improving financial efficiencies, and maintaining a strong financial control environment.

• Produce accurate and timeous monthly financial reports
• Analyse financial performance and identify business efficiencies
• Maintain and improve financial governance and controls
• Manage the trial balance and general ledger
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and review budgets and forecasts
• Review investment opportunities and develop IRR models
• Manage working capital, debtors, and cash flow processes
• Oversee CAPEX management and ROCE performance
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships

• Relevant 3-year BCom degree or equivalent NQF 6/7 qualification
• CIMA or CA(SA) qualification preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management and analysis
• Experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions
• Strong financial reporting and planning experience
• SAP experience advantageous
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
