Main areas of focus will include

• Set appropriate standards and create a positive work climate
• Provide coaching and/or training to improve performance
• Produce financial statements that are clear, concise and error free for companies, close corporations, trusts and individuals
• Applies technical expertise and analyse data affectively
• Maintain effective client relation
• Preparation of tax computations
• Review work performed by juniors and trainees.

Qualifications and Experience

• BCom Degree (Accounting or Financial Accountant) or equivalent Honours
• SAICA/AGA/SAIPA training contract completed or qualified

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of IFRS for SME’s
• Working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Greatsoft and Xero
• Proficient in CaseWare working papers
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties
• Team management skills
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken) (English and Afrikaans)
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Solution driven
