Food & Housekeeping Services Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage food services, housekeeping, and coffee shop operations.
  • Oversee budgets, procurement, stock control, and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, infection control, and safety standards.
  • Plan and manage menus and therapeutic diets.
  • Supervise, train, and develop staff across departments.
  • Maintain high standards of service quality and operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Hospitality Management, Food Technology, or Food Science).
  • Minimum 5 years’ management experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment with exposure to food and housekeeping services.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, procurement, stock control, and multi-department management.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, infection control, and OHS regulations.
  • Understanding of special diets and clinical menu planning.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
