Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Consultant role based in Mossel Bay. The Sales Consultant will engage with residential and commercial clients to understand their security needs, conduct site visits, take measurements, and propose tailored physical security solutions. Responsibilities include preparing quotations, presenting product options, following up on leads, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing. The role also involves coordinating with installation teams to ensure accurate execution, maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, and providing after-sales support to promote customer satisfaction and repeat business. The Sales Consultant is expected to build strong professional relationships with homeowners and industry partners, such as builders and architects, while consistently meeting sales targets and reporting on sales activities.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills, with the ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate security solutions.
- Demonstrated focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, including professional client interaction and effective follow-up.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to present products clearly and negotiate confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- Prior experience in security products, building materials, or a related technical sales environment is advantageous.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a structured sales pipeline.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for site visits within the Garden Route area.
- Ability to read basic building plans and take accurate measurements is beneficial.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
- Relevant certification or diploma in sales, business, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory with strong experience.
