UniCollege is expanding our Engineering Studies department and seeking dedicated, knowledgeable, and industry-experienced facilitators to teach Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering students across the N4–N6 levels.

Facilitation
Planning and managing weekly classes
Preparation and delivery of learning content
Prepare learning environment i.e. labs, classrooms, group activities etc
Marking of practical, formative, and summative assessments
General academic admninstration
Record student attendance
Motivate and reinforce students
Identify students at risk
Set up additional support for students
Record student results
Provide programme review feedback
Moderation reports completed as per the moderation plan
Present the qualification at open days
Minimum Requirements
Academic Requirements
A recognised qualification in Civil/ Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (Minimum N6, National Diploma, Degree, and/or Trade Test).
Registration as an Artisan, Technician, or Engineer will be a strong advantage.
Assessor/Moderator accreditation beneficial but not essential.
Industry Experience
Minimum 3–5 years practical experience in any of the following areas, depending on specialisation:
Engineering design, draughting, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, plant operations
Power generation & distribution, PLCs, electronics, mechanical systems, structural engineering
Workshop supervision, quality control, safety practices, industrial operations
Site supervision, costing, surveying, civil works, reinforced concrete
Teaching & Soft Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to simplify complex engineering concepts
Commitment to student success and academic excellence
Competence with digital tools and engineering simulations
Professional, organised, and able to comply with DHET exam standards
Package is flexible as it is determined by a market related rate per hour
