Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

Promote and represent the client’s product range to industry professionals

Identify new business opportunities and actively grow market share

Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, developers, and designers

Drive product specification into commercial and residential projects

Client & Relationship Management

Build and manage a network of key industry contacts

Engage regularly with stakeholders involved in project decision-making

Maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients

Project & Pipeline Management

Track and manage leads across multiple channels

Monitor project pipelines and ensure consistent follow-up

Maintain accurate records and reporting within CRM systems

Technical & Product Advisory

Provide product guidance and technical support to clients

Interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications

Deliver presentations and product training where required

Market Development

Identify gaps, trends, and growth opportunities within the market

Define and target key customer segments

Support brand awareness initiatives within the industry

Industry Engagement

Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions

Represent the brand in a professional and engaging manner

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams

Ensure seamless client experience and project delivery

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

4–7+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or project consulting

Industry experience in construction, architecture, interior design, or building materials is essential

Proven track record of working with architects, developers, contractors, or related professionals

Experience in specification sales and project-based selling

Skills & Competencies

Strong business development and sales ability with a results-driven mindset

Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings and specifications

Commercial awareness, including pricing and margin considerations

Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills

Strong organisational and project management capabilities

Technical Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Experience using CRM systems for pipeline and client management

Personal Attributes

Professional, well-presented, and confident

Highly self-motivated and proactive

Strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities

Additional Requirements

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
