Commercial Project Manager

Are you a delivery-focused project manager with a track record of bringing complex commercial and systems projects in on time and on scope? Join our Commercial team as a Commercial Project Manager in Stellenbosch or Plattekloof, where you will plan, govern and drive every commercial and systems project from definition through to staged delivery.

This role suits a confident, action-oriented professional who knows how to hold cross-functional teams to milestones without direct authority and who keeps work moving no matter what.

What you'll do

• Plan and drive all commercial projects, including system projects, from definition through to delivery against staged plans
• Lead the build and delivery of the new commercial systems, the largest single commercial commitment, in close collaboration with the Business Analyst
• Scope and package automation initiatives, hand them to the automation team to build, and project-manage delivery end to end
• Run project governance, hold owners to agreed inputs and completion standards, track milestones and actively clear blockers that slow delivery
• Maintain clear, accurate project status reporting for all stakeholders

What you'll need

• A relevant tertiary qualification in a related field
• A project management certification is advantageous
• 3 to 5 years of project management experience delivering commercial, systems or technology projects in a cross-functional environment
• A track record of delivering large programmes to plan, on time and in scope
• Experience in telecommunications, internet services or a subscription-based business is advantageous
• Strong command of project planning, governance, milestones and status reporting
• Ability to work across functions and hold owners to inputs and deadlines without direct authority
• Clear, plain communication style and a strong bias to action
