SUMMARY

Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Staff to support daily kitchen operations within a busy café and food service environment. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cleaning, stock handling, and maintaining high hygiene standards.

POSITION INFO

Description: Assist with food preparation and ingredient preparation. Wash, peel, cut, and portion food items as required. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing stock. Ensure food preparation areas remain clean and organized. Wash dishes and kitchen equipment. Assist chefs and kitchen supervisors during busy service periods. Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times. Dispose of waste according to company procedures. Support the kitchen team in maintaining operational efficiency. Requirements: Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred. Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required. Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
