SUMMARY
Recruiting a Claims Assessor that will be responsible for assessing, investigating, and validating vehicle warranty and technical claims while ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership processes.
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities Assess and validate warranty and technical claims submitted by dealerships. Investigate claim accuracy and ensure compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures. Analyze repair documentation, technician reports, and supporting evidence. Identify incorrect, fraudulent, or non-compliant claims and recommend corrective actions. Liaise with dealership service departments, technicians, and warranty teams regarding claim requirements. Provide technical guidance on repair procedures and claim submissions. Maintain accurate records and reports relating to claims assessments. Ensure all claims are processed within agreed turnaround times. Assist with audits and support continuous improvement initiatives relating to warranty and claims management. Stay updated on manufacturer technical bulletins, warranty policies, and industry best practices. Minimum Requirements Mandatory Requirements Grade 12 (Matric). Qualified Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate. Diagnostic Technician Certificate OR Master Technician Certification. Previous dealership experience within the automotive industry. Preferred Requirements Strong understanding of automotive warranty processes and claim procedures. Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Ability to interpret technical reports and repair documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Computer literacy and experience with dealership management systems.
