UnifyCX is growing and looking for an HR Admin to join our motivated and ambitious team in South Africa!

What Will You Do?

This role will play a critical part in ensuring a smooth hiring-to-onboarding transition, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Support (Onboarding & Pre-Hire)

  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding logistics for new hires (offer documentation, background checks, pre-employment requirements)
  • Ensure timely completion and accuracy of new hire documentation
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to track onboarding progress and start dates
  • Schedule onboarding sessions, orientations, and training coordination
  • Maintain onboarding trackers and ensure data accuracy in HR systems
  • Communicate with candidates to provide a seamless pre-start experience

People Operations Support (HR Admin)

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems
  • Support employee lifecycle processes (new hires, status changes, terminations)
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Generate HR reports (headcount, attrition, onboarding status, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and local labor requirements
  • Support audits and documentation requests

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR administration, recruiting coordination, or similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred

  • Experience supporting high-volume hiring or BPO/contact center environments
  • Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes and employment practices
