Minimum requirements for the role: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, AVIXA CTS, MSCE or ICDL (or willingness to obtain) are advantageous. Previous experience having worked in an IT support or AV technical role, or a similar field, is essential. A solid knowledge of Windows/macOS environments, IP networking, and basic troubleshooting is required for this role. Familiarity with common AV tools and integration, for example, HDMI, audio cabling, and conferencing systems, is required for this role. Proven hands-on experience with networking fundamentals and AV equipment is required. Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Ensure smooth technology operations across offices, meeting rooms, and event spaces. Troubleshoot wired and wireless networks, routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and VPN connections. Provide on-site user support for hardware, software, printers, and connectivity issues as well as perform basic system maintenance, updates, and diagnostics. Set up, operate, and maintain audio systems, video conferencing tools (Zoom/Teams rooms), projectors, screens, and related cabling. Troubleshoot signal, sound quality, and integration issues in boardrooms, training venues, and event spaces. Support internal events and meetings with reliable AV setup and breakdown. Handle basic facilities tasks related to IT/AV infrastructure, such as cable runs, power points, and equipment room maintenance. Assist with hardware installations, relocations, and minor repairs and conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on technical systems. Log and resolve support tickets efficiently and document processes, inventory, and solutions. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors and travel to various sites as required.
