Marketing Coordinator - M&A / Integration Support

Role Purpose

To support marketing and communications activities across business integration projects, ensuring consistent brand alignment, effective communication, and successful brand integration during mergers, acquisitions, and business transitions.

This role is execution-focused and operates within a fast-paced, change-driven environment where accuracy, coordination, and responsiveness are critical.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Marketing Execution

  • Implement brand updates across acquired or integrated entities
  • Update marketing materials to ensure consistency with brand guidelines
  • Assist with rollout of rebranding initiatives (digital and offline)
  • Maintain consistency across all customer-facing and internal materials
  • Support brand audits and assessments of acquired entities to identify alignment and integration requirements
  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency across multiple business units during transition and integration periods

Digital & Content Support

  • Update website content, company profiles, and digital assets
  • Support social media updates where required
  • Assist in preparing basic marketing content (announcements, internal comms, updates)
  • Ensure all content aligns with agreed messaging and tone
  • Support the consolidation and migration of digital assets, websites, and marketing content during integration projects

Internal Communication Support (Critical in M&A context)

  • Assist in drafting and distributing internal communication updates
  • Support communication of integration milestones and changes
  • Assist with change communication initiatives to support employee engagement and awareness throughout integration activities

Coordination & Administration

  • Work closely with HR, IT, and Finance teams to align communication rollouts
  • Maintain version control of marketing documents and assets
  • Track and update marketing deliverables across integration timelines
  • Support scheduling and coordination of marketing-related tasks

Project Support

  • Assist in delivering marketing and communication workstreams within integration projects
  • Provide administrative support to ensure deadlines are met
  • Support tracking and completion of marketing integration activities across multiple entities

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or similar support role
  • Basic digital marketing knowledge (social media, content updates, website maintenance)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working in structured processes and deadlines
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and priorities
  • Exposure to corporate communications, internal communications, or multi-stakeholder environments (advantageous)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Canva or basic design tools
  • Exposure to CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
  • Experience in corporate communications or internal communications
  • Exposure to multi-entity or corporate environments
