A leading manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Factory Accountant who understands that every unit produced, every process improved, and every cost saved contributes directly to the bottom line. POSITION INFO

Join a dynamic manufacturing environment where finance is embedded in the operation. As the Factory Accountant, you will partner with production, supply chain, and plant management teams to monitor costs, improve efficiencies, and provide accurate financial reporting that supports operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyse factory cost reports and performance metrics Monitor production costs, labour costs, and manufacturing variances Support monthly management reporting and financial close processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning activities Analyse inventory movements and stock reconciliations Monitor bill of materials (BOMs) and standard costing models Partner with operational teams to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities Support capex reporting and manufacturing projects Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures Job Experience & Skills Required: BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CIMA completed or in progress advantageous 3-8 years' experience in Factory Accounting, Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, or Management Accounting Strong exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, engineering, or industrial environments Experience with standard costing, inventory management, and variance analysis Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage with non-financial stakeholders Apply now!
