Commercial Advisor – Cape Town Join a Dynamic and Growth-Focused Team An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and commercially minded professional to join a leading organisation in Cape Town as a Commercial Advisor . This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can drive business performance, support commercial decision-making, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide commercial support and advice to management and operational teams. Analyse financial and operational data to identify business opportunities and risks. Develop, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with commercial obligations. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business growth strategies. Prepare commercial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management. Collaborate with internal departments to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Assist with tender submissions, pricing strategies, and business development initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a commercial, financial, business analysis, advisory, or client-facing role. Strong commercial acumen and business understanding. Experience with contract management and commercial negotiations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle would be advantageous. RE5 qualification would be advantageous. Advantageous Experience within financial services, insurance, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, energy, mining, or related industries. Postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, or Commercial Management. Experience with ERP systems and financial modelling.
