(Salary commensurate with experience) Johannesburg | Hybrid An independent wealth management firm serving high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners internationally, is seeking an innovative and commercially minded AI & Business Automation Associate to join its growing team! This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Directors and play a key role in shaping the firm''s AI, automation and technology strategy while enhancing operational efficiency and delivering an exceptional client experience. Key Responsibilities Artificial Intelligence & Automation Implement AI tools and solutions across the business. Develop AI-driven workflows and process automations. Integrate AI applications with CRM systems. Automate repetitive administrative tasks. Build internal AI tools, dashboards and reporting solutions. Research and recommend emerging technologies that improve efficiency. Client Experience Design interactive and engaging client reports. Develop HTML-based portfolio dashboards. Improve client communication processes. Create automated meeting summaries and digital tools. Support marketing and client engagement initiatives. Investment Research Conduct investment manager research and market analysis. Analyse fund performance and portfolio data. Prepare investment research summaries. Support the investment committee process. Develop analytical tools and reporting dashboards. Business Improvement Map and optimise internal workflows. Identify opportunities for productivity gains and process improvements. Support strategic projects and business initiatives. Develop management information and reporting dashboards. Minimum Requirements Essential 3+ years relevant experience in a similar role Experience within the wealth/asset/investment management sector preferred Strong understanding of investment management sector industry related processes adv Commercial mindset with a passion for innovation and technology. Advanced proficiency in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar AI platforms. Proven experience in systems investigation, implementation & Business Process Mapping Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Advantageous Experience with CRM platforms. Exposure to financial services or wealth management. Knowledge of workflow automation tools and dashboard development. Experience using low-code/no-code solutions. Personal Attributes Curious and innovative thinker. Self-starter with strong initiative.
