Mobile Operator (driver)

The Commission on Restitution of Land Rights (CRLR) is seeking a professional and reliable Mobile Office Operator to drive and support the operations of its mobile offices across all nine provinces of South Africa. This role is key to ensuring that land restitution services reach claimants in remote and rural communities helping to finalise old-order claims

• Safely operate and drive the mobile office between locations across all nine provinces, including rural areas
• Navigate routes using GPS/vehicle navigator while adhering to all traffic laws and road regulations
• Transport passengers and equipment securely from one location to another as required
• Ensure the vehicle is fuelled, maintained, and in roadworthy condition at all times
• Work weekends when required to meet operational demands
• Provide basic IT and administrative support during mobile office visits
• Report any vehicle faults, incidents, or scheduling issues to the CRLR project manager promptly

Qualification

• Grade 12 Certificate (Matric)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of professional driving
• Must have a valid driver's licence (code appropriate for a bus/large vehicle)
