The Practice

Consultant Dieticians is an integrative private practice based in Fourways, Johannesburg, with a secondary consulting base in George. We work at the intersection of functional nutrition, hormonal and metabolic health, gut health, and DNA-based dietary assessment. Our approach is evidence-informed, deeply individualised, and unapologetically integrative.

The Position

We are seeking an associate dietitian to cover clinical consulting days in Fourways on a flexible, part-time basis — structured to suit a practitioner for whom predictable, meaningful work matters more than volume.

The initial schedule covers Mondays, one week per month of additional days, and three weeks of full cover in August. This is a commission-based arrangement, with terms reflecting your experience.

The longer-term vision — for the right person — is a genuine business partnership.

You Will Fit Well If

You hold a minimum of 10 years of dietetic experience, ideally in private or specialist practice

You are professionally mature, grounded, and highly self-directed

You have working knowledge of, or genuine interest in, DNA nutritional testing and functional/integrative nutrition

You are settled in Johannesburg with a stable personal life and no plans to relocate

You are at a life stage where part-time, high-quality clinical work is the right fit — not a stepping stone

You operate with strong personal values, professional integrity, and a collaborative spirit
