SHEQ Officer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SHEQ Officer to join our team in the air compressor industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality standards within our workshop and field service operations. This role is essential in maintaining a safe working environment while supporting the refurbishment, servicing and maintenance of air compressors and related equipment.

* Implement and maintain SHEQ policies and procedures.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company standards.

* Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and toolbox talks.

* Investigate incidents, accidents and non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.

* Monitor workshop and site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.

* Maintain SHEQ documentation, reports and records.

* Coordinate employee SHEQ training and inductions.

* Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.

* Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.

* Promote continuous improvement in quality, safety and environmental performance.

* Assist in ensuring refurbished and serviced air compressors meet quality standards and client requirements.

* Proven experience as a SHEQ Officer with 5+ years experience.

* Experience working with workshop operations and field service teams.

* Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations and quality management systems.

* Strong understanding of risk management and incident investigation procedures.

* Relevant SHEQ qualification or certification is advantageous.

* Computer literacy and report-writing skills.

* Good communication and organisational skills.

* Valid driver’s licence and own transport.

* Strong knowledge of contractor's packs/safety files, HSEC Online, ISO9001, 14001, 45001 OSHAS.

* Clean criminal record.
